About
A COLLEGE MINISTRY SERVING TEXAS STATE STUDENTS
Chi Alpha is a college ministry serving students at Texas State University. We are a community focused on loving Jesus and loving people. We offer a real community for fellow Bobcats, show them what a real devoted life to Christ can be, and what it means to take on real responsibility. Our main gatherings, called Tuesday Night Live, meet every Tuesday around 7:30 pm during the main semesters. There you can meet our Pod leaders, who meet with their friends once a week to talk about life and Jesus. Pods are where you'll find your best friends through college! We also host campouts, bonfires, mission trips, and service projects.

What is a Tuesday Night Live like?Tuesday Night Live is an engaging, dynamic atmosphere geared towards ministering to you as a college student. TNL is full of life, creativity, love and encouragement. There is a live band that will lead in worship and a Jesus-centered message by one of our pastors. The entire service lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

What do I wear?Chi Alpha is a place for everyone. We encourage people to come as they are and dress in what feels most comfortable.

Why plan a visit? When you plan your visit then you can be assured that we are prepared for you! A Pod leader will reach out to you to answer any questions you may have, introduce you to everyone, and give you a FREE gift for coming.

What kind of group is this?Chi Alpha is a para-church student organization all about helping people find and follow Jesus. We know this happens when we focus everything on Jesus, connect in community, and learn straight from the Bible. You can find our statement of beliefs on our About page.
